Meet Emily – Metro Detroit and Farmington Portrait Photographer

When I received my first camera as a gift from my parents in high school, I never expected my hobby to develop into a lifelong love for photography. I started focusing on building my business in 2017 and soon realized that newborns, families and senior portraits were the route I wanted to take and enjoyed the most. I absolutely love being able to capture such special moments in my clients lives, these are moments you never want to miss and will want to have forever in a photograph! 

My main goal as your photographer is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable at your session and most importantly have fun during the process! I understand that preparing for a photoshoot can be stressful, but that's why I am here! I will be with you every step of the way and take care of your family! I make your session unique to you when styling your session, and work hard you get the shots you are envisioning. I provide specialty props and outfits for studio sessions to help give my clients a high end, stress free experience. All you need to do is bring your little one and I will handle the rest!

The photography field is always evolving and I continue to further my education with lighting, posing and editing. I have taken many workshops on how to achieve the best senior portraits and family photos.

Newborn photography is a specialty, and your little one's safety is my top priority. I am trained and certified in newborn safety and posing. I've taken many newborn photography courses that have taught me soothing techniques and the best ways to keep your baby comfortable and happy during the session. I always have an assistant to help me during sessions to spot your baby and always have another set of eyes on them. In addition, I ensure I am up to date on all of my vaccines every year and am CPR and first aid certified.
